Lew Ford Called Up By Baltimore Orioles

The Baltimore Orioles have called up former Long Island Duck Lew Ford to the major leagues.

Lew Ford was a member of the Ducks in 2009, 2011, and the first part of 2012.

He previously played in the major leagues for the Minnesota Twins from 2003-2007, and had .272 batting average with 32 home runs,172 RBI, and 47 RBI in 494 games.

Prior to getting getting called up by the Orioles, Ford was hitting .331 with 11 home runs, 43 RBI, and 8 stolen bases for the Norfolk Tides of the International League.
