The Long Island Ducks have dropped the first three games of a four game set in Texas to the Sugar Land Skeeters.

The Ducks offense has been anemic, hitting .198, and scoring a mere four runs in the first three games. Four of those runs were scored in Saturday's game. Only two players are hitting over .300, Ramon Castro and Gabe Suarez. The Ducks have also only attempted one stolen base during the season, which needs to change if the Ducks hope to repeat as Atlantic League Champions.

Pitching doesn't seem to be a major issue for the Ducks early in the season, a side from a couple bad innings, the Ducks pitching has been solid. Starter Matt Way and catcher Ralph Henriquez struggled to get on the same page Saturday night with a few runs scoring on wild pitches and past balls. Hopefully Way can get get things together because he will be called on give the Ducks a good amount of innings this season.
