Joash Brodin continues to be the catalyst for the Ducks. On Friday night he had one of the most memorable games in Ducks history, going 3-for-5 with a home run and seven RBI, which included a walk-off grand slam. He also scored the winning run in Saturday night. Brodin is currently second in the league with a .335 batting average and leads the league in hits (108) and runs (60).
Josh Barfield is also playing some great baseball for the Ducks. Over the last week Barfield has a .333 batting average with a home run and seven RBI.
The return of Kraig Binick has paid huge dividends for the Ducks. The 2011 Atlantic League batting champion is hitting .316 over his last seven games.
Dontrelle Willis continues to be sensational on the mound for the Ducks. In his last two starts Willis has posted 0-1 record with 2.12 ERA in 17 innings pitched. While his record doesn't reflect how great he's been, Willis has kept the Ducks in both of those games.
James Houser has also been tremendous for the Ducks. Though he hasn't pitched in over a week and is currently on the inactive list, Houser has a 7-0 record with a 2.44 ERA in 55.1 innings for the Ducks on the season.
The Ducks finish up their series with Camden today at Bethpage Ballpark, and then they'll travel to Camden for a three-game set with the Riversharks next week.
