I'm pretty excited to go to see the Tri-City ValleyCats tomorrow. One of the major reasons is that the game is a 11AM start, which means I can stay for the entirety of the game and not have to rush home to go to sleep for work. Second, the Astros first pick from the 2013 Draft, Mark Appel is making his second start with the ValleyCats. I missed his first start because I was feeling under the weather.
My last trip to the ValleyCats was tough because there was a rain-delay and it was extremely humid out. I'm hoping that the upstate New York weather cooperates tomorrow so fans and I can enjoy a great baseball game.
I'm also hoping too do a "Venue Review" of their field, Joeseph L. Bruno Stadium in the upcoming week. The last time I was at "The Joe" I was going to take pictures for a my review but their were clouds in the background which wouldn't have done justice to how nice the stadium is.
I'd like to thank the 'Cats for being extremely supportive of my blog, especially Chris Chenes the ValleyCats' Media Relations/Production Manager.
If you're going to be near Troy, NY this summer I highly recommend checking out the ValleyCats.
