The Dutchmen finished the season with a 26-22 record, and made their first trip to the PGCBL Playoffs under Davey.

I spent many games in the Dutchmen dugout this season, but never got a chance to Nick, but all his players raved about how much of a great coach he was. He expected his players to play the game hard all the time. He never quit on his team, and his team never quit on him. On many occasions with his team trailing late in the game he would call them over to have a team meeting. The following inning the team would explode for runs and win the game.

Nick also kept the team focused through many rain outs, and mass exodus of players during the season.

Congratulations to Nick and his staff on a job well done!
