Aspinall, Amorosi, and Wietlispach Return To Dutchmen. Bianchi Signed By Dodgers

The Albany Dutchmen announced this week re-signed outfielder Sean Aspinall, left-handed pitcher Chris Amorosi, and utility-man Jack Wietlispach for the 2015 season.

Aspinall will be a sophomore at Azuza Pacific University in California. He was the 2014 Dutchmen Player of the Year, and led the team with a .336 batting average.

Amorosi, a local product from Schenectady, NY will be a sophomore at Siena College. Last season he posted a 2.76 ERA in 16.1 innings pitched for the Dutchmen.

Journeyman Jack Wietlispach returns for his third tour with the Dutchmen having been a member of the 2012 and 2013 squads. Wietlispach will be playing for Robert Morris University in Chicago this spring.

 All three players will have huge roles for the Dutchmen in the 2015 campaign.

It was also announced the former Dutchmen Chris Bianchi (2013) had his contract with the Kansas City T-Bones of the independent American Association purchased by the Los Angeles Dodgers. After playing for Trinity University in Texas, Bianchi joined the Kansas City T-Bones last season.
