30 Second College Hockey Preview: Army West Point @ Robert Morris University, 10/20/18-10/21/18

Army West Point (1-2-0) travels to Pennsylvania to face Robert Morris (1-1-0) in a two-game set this weekend.

The Black Knights are coming off a weekend in which they split two games between UConn and Merrimack. On Friday night, they were dominated by UConn 5-2 but rebounded for a 3-2 win against Merrimack on Saturday.

Army hasn't seen much offensive from their forwards thus far this season. Their two top scorers are both defensemen in Alex Wilkinson (4 points, 2 goals, 2 assists) and Dalton MacAfee (4 points, 1 goal, 3 assists), while last season's leading scorer Michael Wilson has a single assist in three games so far.

The Black Knights made a change in net on Friday after sophomore Jared Dempsey struggled for the second straight game and was relieved by sophomore Trevin Koslowski. Koslowski then started Saturday's game and got the win. So far this season, he has a 2.25 GAA and a .919 save percentage.

Robert Morris is coming off a weekend split with Bowling Green, who many believe has one of the best offenses in the nation. The Colonials won 3-2 on Friday night but were then dismantled 6-0 on Saturday night. Goalie Francis Marotte struggled in net and has a 4.28 GAA and .882 save percentage to start off the season.

Key to the game:
Army needs to get their offensive going...it's going to be a long season if their defensemen are scoring all their goals. What better way to get your offensive going then against a goalie who is reeling from a 6-0 loss the previous weekend.
